Keneeth Gambleは、1943年8月11日フィラデルフィア生まれ。Thom Bellと共に、1959年、The Romeosを結成する。1962年に、Somebody You’ll Be My Love/I’ll Get By Without You（Heritage 108）を初録音。この2曲は、Ain’t Nothing But A House Partyという編集盤で聴くことができる。1965年に、Ain’t It Baby/Ain’t It Baby Pt.2を録音（Arctic 114）。同曲とThe Joke’s On YouをOn The Philadelphiaで聴くことができる。1966年には、Don’t Stop Loving Meを録音。同曲は、Storm Warningというコンピレーションで聴くことができる。Kenny Huff/Leon huffの未発表曲What Am I Gonna Say to My Babyは、Benlee’s Philadelphiaで聴くことができる。Gamble-Huffは、1960年代には、The Ronettes,Chubby Checkerのバックを務めたり、Wilson Pickett,Archie Bell & The Drells,Jerry Butlerと仕事をする。Gamble-Huffは、Neptuneレーベルを設立。Bunny SiglerのLet The Good Times Roll,O’JaysのBack Stabbers,Harold Melvin & The Blue NotesのIf You Don’t Know By Me Now,Billy PaulのMe & Mrs,Jonesをプロデュースする。
